My Dad
My wife and I drove to Olympia, WA. today to visit my dad who underwent surgery yesterday to remove a tumor in his brain.
The surgery went fairly well although the doctors believe that the tumor is a type 3 or 4 aggressive primary tumor which means that the tumor originated in the brain and the cancer cells have spread throughout the brain. If this is true then in the natural things are looking fairly bleak. In fact if this prognosis is accurate he has less than a year to live.
We are praying for God’s perfect will to be accomplished.
Please pray for my dad, my mom and the rest of our family.

Jodi…my dad isn’t really aware of this because the official prognosis is not out. This was the initial findings after the surgery. Obviously God can do a miracle here…in fact either way is a miracle.
“for me to live is Christ…to die is gain”
thank you all for praying for my dad who most of you don’t even know…that means a lot!

I’m sorry for everything you’re going through. As you already know, I know what you’re going through. Good luck with the tests and finding out what’s going on.

daughter of cancer,
You probably got the dates mixed up and didn’t notice that it was Feb of last year. My dad died in June, he didn’t have to suffer long and for that I’m thankful.
blessings on you and your loved ones.
